Americare Wellness Announces Kai Bigelow as Director of Recovery & Behavioral Health Services, AW Detox
Americare Wellness is proud to announce the appointment of Kai Bigelow as Director of Recovery & Behavioral Health Services for AW Detox, the organization’s dedicated recovery and behavioral health service line.
With more than 20 years of experience in behavioral health, Kai brings a deeply compassionate, client-centered approach to supporting individuals and families navigating substance use and mental health challenges. His work is grounded in the belief that recovery is not one-size-fits-all, but a highly personalized journey requiring consistency, trust, and expert guidance.
In his role, Kai will lead the development and execution of AW Detox’s recovery support programs, including:
• Individualized recovery coaching and support
• Life skills development and functional wellness planning
• Coping strategy implementation and relapse prevention
• Ongoing client advocacy and care coordination
• Family engagement and support services
Kai works closely with each individual to understand their unique story, goals, and challenges—building tailored care plans designed to create meaningful, lasting change. His collaborative approach ensures that clients, families, and care teams remain aligned throughout every stage of the recovery process.
